COMMUNITY OUTREACH

As Jesus Christ has blessed our lives in countless ways, we seek to be a blessing to others, in turn. As a church, we are outward-focused in many ways. We believe that Christ's word and love has made a profound impact on our lives, and we are excited to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our community.

Outreach efforts include service and relationships with organizations such as WeCare, Lutheran Homes of SC, Harvest Hope Food Bank, Lutheran Services Carolinas, Souper Bowl of Caring, Lutheran Hospice, Meals on Wheels, American Red Cross, Novus Way, USC Lutheran Campus Ministry, and Adopt-A-Highway.

Through the S.C. Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), Bethel gives a portion of its budget to help the larger church in its mission.

Stop by and visit our Little Free Library. Bethel members built the library and the Girl Scouts we host were gracious enough to build the bench!
