Pastor's Message
PASTOR’S MESSAGE
Grace and peace to you,
We are glad you have found your way to our website whether you are connected to the rich history of Bethel, a current member, or searching for a church.
I began at Bethel at the end of June 2021 and have quickly grown to love this congregation. The congregation here is small but mighty, filled with many faithful members- both lifelong and new. When you attend you will likely be greeted by one of our many loving disciples.
In this area of the country, you can typically find a church on every corner. They come in all shapes and sizes. So, why Bethel? Bethel is a place where you will be known by name. A place where your children will be cared for and met by folks of different generations. Bethel has deep historical roots but a vision for the future of God’s kingdom.
We have Bible study, Pub Theology, Sunday school, worship, and opportunities for outreach throughout each month.
The heart of church is to join in God’s mission sharing Jesus’ love, mercy, and grace with the world. Lutherans trust that no matter what our story, God loves us as we are and meets us where we are. We are all imperfect individuals in need of God’s love and grace. At Bethel, we strive to be a place where you will feel accepted and loved.
I hope you will consider attending a worship service or small group event at Bethel. You’ll find the people here welcome you with open arms.
May the Lord bless and keep you always!
Peace,
Reverend Megan Lineberger
